Add V-Complete to the food once it has cooled. V-Complete contains heat-sensitive vitamins, so the food should be at room temperature when mixing it in. Follow the general feeding recommendation of 2g per 5kg body weight for homemade meals. For a 15 kg dog, this translates to approximately:

155g protein source (dry weight), cooked

120g vegetables, cooked for better digestibility

110g carbohydrate source (dry weight), cooked

7.5g oil

6g V-Complete

Approximately 2g salt (125 mg per kg body weight)

 

Adjust the feeding amount according to your dog's weight, as these are just guidelines. Every dog is unique, so adjust the portion based on your dog's individual needs. Always ensure there is access to fresh water.
